JomSocial Labs: Theme Designer - Default Group Covers and Avatars

In our latest lab post, we show how simple it will be in JomSocial 4.3 to change the group default cover and avatar using Theme Designer.

It’s always been possible to change the default images using overrides but making that change with Joomla’s built-in functionality is very complicated. You’ll need some advanced knowledge of templating and override scheming.

JomSocial 4.3 changes that completely. All you’ll need to do is select the image and press the Save button.
