Cannot Upload Video To Amazon S3

ISSUE SUMMARY:
Just trying to setup so can upload videos to amazon S3 and tried everything i could find here in the forums but failing and keep getting error code 200(see attached). Host siteground says everything should be ok with setup have the cron setup at cronless. Also tried with zencoder which is current setup but that could change depending on response time here;)

STEPS TO REPLICATE:

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.

Started over as main reason for using this component and have not heard back from you yet so did everything from scratch still same error which leaves me to believe hosting issue or config issue however I do not know what to tell host as they say everything is fine on there end and made the adjustments per your instructions. Thank you

Hi,

at your video setting, you set Zencoder and FFMPEG. please choose one, do you want using Zencoder or FFMPEG?
and I need your FTP access detail (by editing your first post at this topic), by using mijoFTP I cant edit any files.

if you want using FFMPEG. please make sure exist at your server.

Hi,

the best way is using zencoder + amazon S3 but it will cost you more.
I have a look at your S3 configuration. you S3 domain not
theinsitenetworkvids.s3.amazonaws.com
but
theinsitenetworkvids.s3-website-us-west-2.amazonaws.com

please make sure about it. because most of all amazon S3 domain always bucketname.s3.amazonaws.com

and make sure the zencoder has been properly setup:
app.zencoder.com/docs/guides/getting-started/working-with-s3

Hi,

your FFMPEG that installed still using very old version, ffmpeg version 0.7.5
please upgrade it to 2.x, you can git it from:
ffmpeg.org/

you can asking your server support about upgrading that ffmpeg.

and about zencoder, I cant login to it. seem invalid username/password

please try to upgrade that ffmpeg first.

Siteground Says; "Since we are using custom environment, the ffmpeg version can not be updated on the current server. If you need to use the newest version you will have to upgrade the server to Dedicated solution with root access"

Hi,

please check it. I made a test and the video already processing by zencoder and still waiting to transferred to S3.
zencoder not 100% realtime, all jobs must waiting they server process



please check that jobs again later.
