I plan to renew my license, however I have two doubts about this new version of Jomsocial

1 - The administrator can create a profile field so that it is able to edit it and only owner of the profile can see it?
2 - There defined plans to deploy sistem of achievements in Jomsocial?

1. Yes. Profile fields are created by Super User / Administrator in backend. And every field has privacy settings "Personal, All, Admin Only". Personal could be viewed by user and SU, All could be seen by all users and ADmin Only is self explanatory. Also user can set privacy for every field during registration.

2. WE have badges system - that could be customized. You can create graphic badges that are achieveid when user gather certain (defined by you) amount of karma points. Karma points are received by activities in Community: e.g uploading avatar, covers, photos, videos, adding posts and so on.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

But one doubt still persists, would like an exact answer to my question below:
The Administrator can create profile fields where "it only" is able to change the data?
Ex: An example of field:
Year of the contract: (only the administrator is allowed to enter / edit this information)

Yes, it's possible. Such a field should be disabled for registration and set as "Admin Only" so only admin is able to see or edit it.
