Hi

I received an offer from you for a Memorial day special for 1 day that said it was 35% OFF -ALL- products.

"All products are 35% off. Hurry before this offer disappears
Use coupon code MEM2016 at the checkout and get 35% off, today only."

However, this is not true as I decided to renew my JomSocial Pro for 6 months and it will not apply the discount.
It said it did not apply to any products in my shopping cart.

This is not very honest - I was was hoping to save some money so I could set up the site for an indigenous cultural center network, however, it looks like that won't be the case.

I have not had an installation of JomSocial running for the last 2 years and was looking forward to re-installing again ....

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your question. Jomsocial offers automatic discounts on renewal. For Jomsocial pro it's 35% discount for 6 months and 40% discount if you choose to renew for 1 year. It's quite the contrary to what you say. We value our existing customers and want to reward you for repeat business. Those discounts are applied automatically at the time of renewal. Just log into your existing account and renew.

I hope this helps and i look forward to seeing your renewal come though :)

Thanks for your support of Jomsocial and i hope the new site you mention goes great it sounds like a great idea.

Hi Paul

I understand what you say, however, the way it is worded I expected that all purchases would have the special applied regardless of their current listed value.
The site I am looking to build is for indigenous people living in the remote jungle of the islands - none have a disposable income and the site will have no commercial aspect, it is to re-inforce traditional language and cultural practices that are disappearing and our government has no resources to deal with the problem (Vanuatu is classified as a least developed country)
I am looking at how we can implement an internal social network as an alternative to a migration to FB etc which is counter to preserving the current 'un-tainted' social structure and underlying culture - knowing there are no funds ....

Maybe JomSocial could support it with a renewal and get some good PR - it will be through the National Cultural Centre and Museum so how about it ? a renewal for Corporate Recognition helping community networks develop in remote jungle islands :-)

Thanks Paul

I know the local museum and cultural centre would appreciate any support - we (Vanuatu) have just recovered from a Cat 5 cyclone just over a year ago so the economy is still very fragile - government priorities are things like remote clinics etc which is the right thing ... so the poor old museum is last on the list :-)

Do you know anything about Vanuatu ?

Best Regards
Mark
